Àrrival Dambulla - Minneriya - Sigiriya
Visit the famous Rock Cave Temples at Dambulla, the most visited monastery. It is the most impressive cave temple in Sri Lanka, with five caves under a vast overhanging rock, carved with a drip line to keep the interiors dry. There are images of the Buddha, and Gods and Goddesses. There are innumerable painted sculptures, including a life-size effigy of the last Kandyan king and much older statues of Hindu gods. In the afternoon, continue the tour to Menneriya National Park.
Minneriya National Park is located between Habarana and Polonnaruwa. Covered an area of 8890 hectares park is an ideal place for elephant and leopard watching. The vegetation of this park is mixed with evergreen and scrub areas. The important feature of this park is that the 3rd-century-built Minneriya Tank is located in the park. During the dry season, the Minneriya tank becomes the ideal place to observe its natural wildlife. Minneriya National Park is home to 24 species of mammals,160 species of birds, 75 species of butterflies, 9 species of amphibians, 26 species of fish, and 25 species of reptiles.
Sigiriya - Matale - Kandy
After Early breakfast climb the 5th century A.D Rock Fortress. See the mural paintings of “Heavenly Maidens” over 1500 years old, which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock. Historians say originally there were close to 500 paintings but today only 19 exist. Also, visit the water and rock gardens and the King’s bath on the 600 feet palace-fortress. Also, En-route visit a Batik Factory and a Spice Garden at Matale. Here you would be shown the different varieties of spices grown and demonstration of their use.
Continue to Kandy……. In the evening – visit the “Temple of the Tooth Relic” Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple.

Kandy - Peradeniya - Pinnawla - Nuwaraeliya
After breakfast, proceed to Nuwara Eliya, En – route visit the Century old Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, with its amazing verities of trees, plants and flowers. Reputed to be one of the best in the world with its hundreds of verities of Roses and Orchids. Afternoon, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Oraphanage. the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela. There you can see the bottle feeding of baby Elephants, see them at play & accompany them to a river close by to see them having their daily bath. Later proceed to Nuwara-eliya via Ramboda falls.
The Hill Country is exceptionally beautiful, with crystal clear waterfalls and tea plantations dotted throughout. Nuwara-Eliya – The “Little England” of Sri Lanka. The journey will take you through some of Sri Lanka’s beautiful scenic locations. Enjoy the drive through green carpeted areas of tea plantations. Nuwara-Eliya nesting below Pidurutalagala, Sri Lanka’s highest mountain is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, and Waterfalls & Tea Plantations – offers beauty unlimited.
Nuwara Eliya - Neruwala
After breakfast proceeds to Beruwala via Kitulgala. Kitulgala is a small town in the west of Sri Lanka. It is in the wet zone rain forest, which gets two monsoons each year, and is one of the wettest places in the country. Nevertheless, it comes alive in the first three months of the year, especially in February, the driest month. The Academy Award-winning “The Bridge on the River Kwai” was filmed on the Kelani River near Kitulgala, although nothing remains now except the concrete foundations for the bridge (and, supposedly, the submerged train cars that plunged into the river in the climactic scene). Kitulgala is also a base for white-water rafting, which starts a few kilometres upstream. Continue to Beruwala. Beruwela on Sri Lanka’s West Coast maintained its small fishing village charm despite being next to the major beach resorts of Bentota and Aluthgama. Beruwela is the first Muslim settlement in Sri Lanka, established by the Arab traders in 8th century AD. There is a famous Muslim mosque at the beachhead close to which is a lighthouse. Beruwela has excellent water sport facilities. Beruwela offers good bathing facilities throughout the year. Bentota - Madu River Safari - Colombo
After breakfast, proceed to Colombo, En-route does a Madu River safari by boat. In Colombo – Observing the old Parliament, the colonial buildings in the Fort area, the residential areas, and the BMICH (Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall). The tour continues with a visit to Captains Garden Hindu Temple, Colombo Museum, and the Independence Square [locations could be adjusted on Request.

Colombo Departure
Buffet breakfast at Hotel. Have a rest in the morning at leisure or have a stroll around the City. Check-out from the hotel by mid-day and depending on the flight time transfer to the airport for departure.
